體育科課程特色 Physical Education Curriculum
保馬體育課程的宗旨是鼓勵學生積極參與體育運動,建立學生的正面價值觀和態度,以及建立活躍和健康的生活方式。
在常規課堂裡,學生除有機會學習多個的主流傳統運動項目,亦會學習一些較少接觸的運動項目和新興運動,並在初中課程中加入健身室單元及長跑課程,讓學生能涉獵不同類型的運動,以體驗不同活動經歷及培育恆毅力。同時,學生會定期進行多項的體能訓練和測試,以鍛鍊學生有良好的體魄。
於常規課堂外,本校設有不同的體育校隊、舉辦多個具體育運動元素的周會活動,讓學生有更多機會發掘不同體育運動的興趣。
此外,學校健身室(POMA GYM)逢星期一、二放學後開放予師生使用,師生每逢星期四放學後均可參與POMA RUN正向跑活動,一方面可讓師生訂定目標,建立恆常的運動習慣,學習更多與長跑相關的知識和正向人生的價值觀:另一方面,可讓師生在課室以外有更多相處的機會,以促進生生和師生的關係,增加學生對學校的歸屬感。
Physical Education Curriculum
Our Physical Education curriculum aims at inspiring students to actively participate in sports, instilling positive values and attitudes in students, and promoting healthy lifestyle.
In the regular classroom, students can learn not only a wide variety of mainstream sports, but also some less common and newly emerged sports, which allow them to gain new experiences. To help students develop a good physique, students will engage in various physical training and assessments.
Moreover, the school offers a variety of sports teams, interest classes, summer courses and activities including POMA Fitness Day, to enable students to explore different sports.
Moreover, the school gym (POMA GYM) is open for use after school on Mondays and Tuesdays. Students can join POMA RUN every Thursday after school, which allows teachers and students to create achievable goals, develop fitness routines, learn more about long-distance running and establish positive values. In addition, it builds student-teacher rapport and increases students’ sense of belonging to the school.
